Smash Life

In addition to pursuing my musical journey I’ve recently begun another along with my brother Andy. We have set up Smash Life a service aimed at offering;

  • Mentoring (1 to 1 Support)
  • Consultancy
  • Training for young people/professionals
  • Real life inspiring resilience talk about our lives growing up together in the care system, the challenges we faced and the lessons we learnt and wish to pass on.
  • Group work

We are available individually or collectively to deliver a powerful and inspiring talk about our journey to Professionals, Educators, Social Workers, Youth and Community Workers, Young People and any other applicable groups or agencies.

With over thirty five years experience between us working professionally with vulnerable groups and individuals, we are well suited to deliver talks from a professional standpoint and with the hindsight of experience as a child/teenager growing up in the care system.

These talks are ideal for young people who are at a stage where they may need some real life inspiration and role models or for professionals wanting an insight into a life actually lived within the system and how we can all learn from our experiences.

We are able to offer these talks worldwide.

Testimonial:

“These remarkable brothers, suffered long term abuse, humiliation, degradation and shame, at the ‘hands’ of those entrusted with their ‘care’.

Their ‘life story’ is one of courage, resilience and determination. Their promise to us yesterday, and their commitment to each other today, is to be the change for children that they should have experienced.

If you are looking for conference speakers, mentors for your children, sports or music professionals, these chaps are going to be booked up very quickly, after being invited by the Consortium for Therapeutic Communities to their first conference debut yesterday.”
